Advertising rates are listed per issue. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon signing the advertising agreement. The remaining 50% balance is due on the final artwork deadline date. Ads will not run without full payment.

While we welcome requests for ad placement, specific positioning cannot be guaranteed. Local Motion Magazine is organized by business type to maintain consistency and flow.

Advertisers who commit to 3-, 6-, or 12-month contracts receive complimentary initial ad design. During the contract period, monthly updates such as text edits or image swaps are included at no extra charge. However, full redesigns during the term will incur a $150 redesign fee per instance.

Advertisers may submit their own completed, production-ready artwork. Please note that submitting your own ad does not reduce the advertising rate. All files must be submitted as high-resolution PDFs or JPGs, meeting the exact specifications (including DPI, dimensions, and bleed for full-page ads) as outlined in our ad size chart.
Artwork submitted incorrectly—whether due to sizing, resolution, or missing bleed—will not be printed. This policy ensures the professional appearance and visual consistency of the magazine. If proper artwork is not provided by the deadline, or if the advertiser fails to approve an ad designed by our team in time, the ad space will still be billed as scheduled.

Local Motion Magazine may utilize AI-assisted tools for article writing and editorial content development. All design work, including advertisements and layouts, is completed by human designers.

The publisher assumes no liability for errors or omissions in any advertiser-supplied materials or in ads designed by our team. While our designers take great care, human error can occur — such as typos, incorrect images, or layout inconsistencies. We rely on the advertiser to thoroughly review all proofs for accuracy. Advertisers are solely responsible for the final content of their ad. Approval of the proof serves as confirmation that all information is correct. Once an ad is approved, Local Motion Magazine is released from all liability.

Additionally, due to variations in print processes and materials, colors may appear slightly different in print than they do on screen. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee exact color matching and are not responsible for discrepancies in printed color appearance.

Cancellations must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the artwork deadline to avoid being billed for the issue. Deposits are non-refundable. Missed deadlines or non-submissions will not result in credits or refunds.

Local Motion Magazine reserves the right to reject or request edits to any advertisement or content that does not align with our publication's values, community standards, or aesthetic quality.
